A funeral stores the words you submit, the stone you picked, whether it is public or unlisted, and counters for views, flowers, and candles. An optional display name is stored only if you type one. There is no account system.

A cookie named if_vid holds a random id. The server hashes it with a secret before saving a reaction, view, or report. That hash is not a perfect identity. Clearing the cookie creates a new one.

Payments are handled by Stripe Checkout. This site stores the checkout session id, payment status, amount, and currency. It does not receive or store full card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to their checkout page.

Optional analytics, if configured, sends event names such as "publish free funeral" to Plausible. It is off unless ANALYTICS_PROVIDER and ANALYTICS_KEY are set.

To ask for a grave to be removed, use the report button and include the grave link. There is no account to delete.
